  Eating Disorders Peoject staff use a template for their assessment interviews and letters which are written to the patient with a copy to their GP. Click on link to see the template

• Report on Eating Disorders  
  This report was provided for the Gloucestershire Director of Public Health's Annual Report 1997. It outlines the health needs assessment and strategy adopted by Gloucestershire Health Authority.

• Specification for eating disorders services  
  Describes the services expected to be available in Gloucestershire and the work undertaken to support service development.

• Out of county referrals for people with an eating disorder  
  Sets standards for referral, admission, liaison and discharge at out of county in-patient units. Refers to an audit of referrals out of county undertaken in 1997. Provides background information on the role of hospital treatment.

• Treatment services in the year 2000 
  Copy of an article which appeared in the EDA magazine "Signpost". Reviews the current situation regarding specialised services in the UK and refers to the work of the project.

• Referrals to Glos Mental Health Services: 1996- 1997  
  Describes and discusses eating disorder referrals to local mental health services during the first year of the project.

• Glos eating disorders caseload survey 
  Describes the number of cases of people with an eating disorder on the mental health services caseload in February 1997.

• Early identification of eating disorders by dentists 
  A survey of Gloucestershire Dentists undertaken in August 1998.

• Working with the person with disordered eating patterns 
  An introductory text for mental health clinicians. Describes eating disorders and their effects and provides guidance on clinical management. Probably of interest to non-professionals as well.
